12/30/2023 0 Comments Torchlight 2 outlander build![]() ![]() putting a point into long range mastery to take 1000 to 1020 would give 46% of 1020 = 469. as i understand it (maybe it calculates differently to how i expect) 46% of 1000 for 460 damage base. Long range mastery logic seems flawed, aside from the two best glaive skills (glaive throw and shattering glaive) not scaling with weapon dps. cant spam glaive throw non stop but having mana leech on a fast wand (side note not a main poison wand, poison wand with only glaive throw as damage lowers output against poison resist enemies tremendously, some netherim took way longer than they shouldve) lets you get your mana back up fast if needed sandstorm is way to slow, small and unreliable for my liking). ![]() While there are other ways to build the Outlander which focus on their other DPS. Known as a glaivelander these characters focus heavily on Glaive Throw for their damage and is the easiest skill build available for this Torchlight 2 class. simple 3 skill build that makes elite laughably easy and i have a surplus of skill points that i dont really have a use for (planning on vortex hex and shattering glaive once i reach the level required for the flame trail upgrade, could probably get some worthwhile bonus from share the wealth but currently i really dont need it. Our Torchlight 2 Outlander build guide provides all the information you need to optimise your glaive build. My glaiver currently is full focus (4% of max mana regen base means more max mana=more regen also good scaling on most glaive skills) wand+shield (no weapon swap, no other weapon set was a useful addition) 10 glaive throw for triple bounce, 5 repulse hex, maxing poison burst, 1 burning leap (i dont like using runic leap for movement) maxing master of the elements. And if you wear poison weapons, it's 4% ) Master of Elements - an obvious 2% increase.Share the Wealth - I don't remember the specifics, but i bet there are some damage in there.Akimbo - if you dual wield, it's another 2% damage per point.Shotgonne mastery - if you have a shotgon, you will indirectly increase the stun chance of Glaive Sweep (all the DPS skills contribute to proc the effects of the weapons - here, the x% stun induced by Shotgonne Mastery to your shotgun).Long range mastery: 2% more damage per point! That's exactly the same as if you increased Glaive Sweep (but without the stun bonus).Of course, as soon as you got enough mana regeneration to afford more lvls in your active skills, increase them )īut more importantly, you can still increase your damage without increasing your active skills if you increase some of the passive skills. Besides, if it's %DPS skills, it already scales with your weapon - if you make sure you have a good weapon at all times it should be no problem. Originally posted by potterman28wxcv:You keep your active skills at lvl 1 until you get mana regen gems, at which point you start increasing them ) dont you think it'll be soo underpowered ? im at lvl 36 on elite It's better (DPS-wise) to be able to spam lvl 1 skills all the way you like, rather than having one powerful lvl 10 skill that you barely spam because of the mana.
