His spell list is a more limited version of the Druid spell list, mostly deleting all the direct-damage spells and keeping the general nature control stuff and healing. So, I basically just gave it spontaneous casting as a Pathfinder Oracle (including cure spells as bonus spells known), with the additional ability to swap out a number of spells at EACH level rather than every 4. ![]() I also wanted to keep the flexibility of the Arcana Unearthed "readied spells" system but also use normal D&D casting and spells. Mostly this was solved by rolling the Greenbond feats and Evolved Greenbond capstone ability (from the Transcendence book) into the class itself. I think the Arcana Unearthed/Evolved Greenbond is a good replacement, as it takes over a much-maligned part slot (healer/support character) and has flavor and cohesiveness that I think is improved over the Druid.Īs such, I wanted to port the Greenbond over to Pathfinder, which definitely required a bump up in overall power and a lot of replacement dead levels. I don't really like the Druid as it is in 3.5 D&D/Pathfinder - it occupies too many roles in the party, and is legendarily powerful, something which wasn't really fixed at all in PF. ![]() So, I also posted this on the Paizo board, but was interested in more varied responses as well.
